Refund Policy – Osborne Park 4WD

1. Overview
At Osborne Park 4WD, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

This means you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where a product has a major failure, and to a repair or replacement where the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


2. Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

At our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit if:

  • the item is returned within 14 days of purchase

  • the item is unused, uninstalled and in original packaging

  • proof of purchase is provided

Shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.


3. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the issue, we will:

  • repair the item

  • replace the item

  • or provide a refund

We may require photos, videos or inspection of the product before confirming the outcome.


4. Major vs Minor Failures
A major failure includes when:

  • the product is unsafe

  • significantly different from the description

  • not fit for its intended purpose

  • or would not have been purchased if the issue was known

For major failures, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

For minor issues, we may choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable time.


5. Installation and Compatibility
Many 4WD accessories require correct installation and vehicle compatibility.

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • incorrect installation

  • failure to follow manufacturer instructions

  • incompatibility where the customer has not confirmed fitment prior to purchase

If unsure, please contact us before purchasing.


6. Returns Process
To request a return, please contact us with:

  • your order number

  • description of the issue

  • photos if applicable

Returns must not be sent without prior approval.


7. Shipping Costs
If a product is confirmed faulty or not as described, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

If the return is for change of mind, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.


8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
