The hammerlock shackles offer a secure alternative to welding and are designed for attaching a safety chain to the trailer drawbar using a suitable rated safety chain attachment point. They are compatible with 10mm chains and can handle loads weighing up to 3,150kg (3.15T)

The trailer chain hammerlocks above are not interchangeable with different-size chains. For example, a 3,150kg (3.15T) Hammerlock will not fit a 13mm chain because the chain link is too small for the Hammerlock to pass through.
